My 20th country solo, welcome to Malaysia 😊

I can say I have fairly traveled to South East Asia in last 10 years but so much more to explore and see. Every trip is a brand new experience specially to a new country.

For last 2 years, my plans no more worked rather it was the calling of the land which invited me to the places.

Made many plans for 2024 and ended up cancelling travel to four countries but had this desire to visit a new country this year for sure. This time, Malaysia it was! Malaysia has been on my mind since 2022 when a couple from Spain whom I met in Vietnam praised it to a different level, they were fascinated by the cultural mix of it and so I am now. I decided to ring the New year 2025 in Malaysia…exciting!!!

Malaysia truly held up my expectations well and I call it a pleasant surprise 😊

Any travel plan and all accompanying arrangements is no easy task…this one turned really hectic, as easier and cheapest way for me to travel was to take a direct flight from Ahmedabad to Kuala Lumpur. I took a 10 hrs train to Ahmedabad and reached in the morning with very little sleep on the train, checked in and rested for few hours in a hostel and headed to airport at around 8 pm to catch 11:30 pm flight which ended up taking off after 1 am.

Delayed flights, lots of waiting, lack of sleep and routine, exhaustion is a part of international trip and I very well know how it weighed on me this time. I was irritated and exhausted even with my 7 kg carry on backpack made me super tired 😕

Finally made it to Kuala Lumpur at the very last day of 2024 on 31st Dec, I was exhausted and excited at the same time for new years eve!
